I grew up in Rio, Wisconsin, a small town just north of Madison. My family owned a farm with woods, and growing up, I became an avid outdoorsman.
High school shop class got me interested in my life-long hobby of woodworking. It wasn't long before I bought my first major tool, a Sears radial arm saw that I still use today.
As my interest in the craft developed, I began selecting and harvesting my own trees for my projects.
I'm often asked what my favorite part of wood working is. For me, it's the wood itself - the smell, the feel, and the beautiful features that make each piece unique.
I'm proud of the work I do. Each piece I create is a labor of love. I hope you enjoy browsing my gallery of chests and tables. If you see something you love, please contact me!
